Marine Ecological Surveys Ltd. has carried out numerous eco-audit and environmental impact monitoring programmes over the past 29 years for major projects worldwide. These have typically involved a series of up to 10 surveys per year, each requiring a full evaluation of the impact of coastal development projects on community structure, fisheries and wildlife resources. The results are confidential to clients, but have been summarised in some cases in the international literature by our staff in collaboration with clients. Dr.Newell is a Member of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAFF) Science Audit Team (SAT) to report on the quality of science provided by the Centre for the Environment, Fisheries & Aquaculture Science (CEFAS) Laboratories.
