Final year project - Induced defences in Marine Gastropods: The behavioural and physiological responses of Littorina littorea to predation pressures.

Whilst at the Aquarium as a guide, Lisa also worked with the husbandry team, with duties including feeding and maintenance of the displays.

As assistant scientist at South West Water, Lisa worked in the microbiology lab, analysing water samples to check bacteria levels.

At MES Lisa is involved in sample collection, separation, identification and enumeration of fauna from intertidal and subtidal projects around the UK.
She is involved in taxonomic training of junior staff and identification quality control in the lab.
She recently attended a NMBAQC workshop, holds a Sea Survival certificate, and also First Aid at Work certificate.
Currently training in the analysis and identification of zooplankton, specifically involved in researching the Ross worm, Sabellaria spinulosa.
