Consultant Experience
Emma previously worked for 3 years at Unicomarine as a Senior Biologist analysing benthic samples. Since joining MESL Emma has been involved in the sample collection, separation, identification and enumeration of fauna from intertidal and subtidal projects around the UK. She is responsible for the quality assurance of the identification carried out in the laboratory, collation of in house reference collections and taxonomic training of junior staff. She has attended an NMBAQC taxonomic workshop. She is also responsible for COSHH and has attended a COSHH training course.

Emma carried out volunteer work identifying fauna from the artificial reef Scylla for the National Marine Aquarium to allow the colonisation of the newly sunk reef to be assessed.

Emma has a current First Aid for Appointed Persons certificate.
