MES completed a research project entitled "Impacts of Overboard Screening on Seabed and Associated Benthic Biological Community Structure In Relation to Marine Aggregate Extraction", and was prepared for the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM). The project was funded by The Sustainable Land-Won & Marine Dredged Aggregate Minerals programme, (grant No. SAMP.1.022.) and also through MIRO (Minerals Industry Research Organisation).
